I Totally Lost It

We stepped in the aisle to say our goodbyes

They don't understand how this hurts

They know we are friends and talk all the time

But our love is hid, unknown

I clasp your hands as the tears start to fall

and I stare at the soul I am crushing

The pleading eyes tell me words you don't need to say

You want me to stay with you

You're slowly collapsing in front of my eyes

and I'm trying to grab all the pieces

To keep you together and still hold you close

I know that you still need me

I hold my composure and kid with you some

Before we finally part

But what you don't know

Is when I walked through that door

I totally lost it.
