Pure

Pure

A Poem by ashleydawn

It's irrisistable

The faint mood washes over me

I'm no longer in control

My brain is numb

My heart gone soft

My soul is leading now

The wind blows

and the trees sway

Our heads thrust upward

Eyes trained on the diamonds above

What wonders are here

Then there's the moon

Casting out a beam like no other

It stops me in my tracks

All thoughts washed away

I feel

Pure

I think that was such a good way to end such a nice poem. Good job.

I like these lines here.
This is a wonderful write.

No the typos were not supposed to be there. I must not have looked over this before I posted it. So thank you. (:

A nice write. But has someone swapped the keys over on your keyboard? I'm in two minds whether or not the deliberate typos help.
