I really, really like this! From the way you formatted it, to the way you described what blue can be. As if it had different forms, different lives it lives. How blue can be the sea, when it's tossing and turning, or how it could be the sky when not a single cloud spots it, creating a painting above our heads. I love how it can be an ocean, and the flowers, and the summertime sky, all at the same time. I also like that little spark of romance in the third stanza, when you say 'It's her eyes'. For a second it seemed out of place, but after re-reading the poem, I think it fits nicely. When I created the contest, I imagined that if anyone were to do blue it would be about melancholy times or sad emotions. The way you took nature and beautiful things we see in life, to create an image for an unspoken color, is breathtaking. Instead of focusing on what blue means to one person, you took it and defined it for the world. Great write!!
