Red InkA Poem by AshleeKayannJust now. 5/30/12
An emptiness consumes me.
I fight this battle every time. It's a coward; it attacks when I'm alone. In darkness, I lose my advantage. "I'm holding on," I say. Holding on for a victory I will never have alone. "You're never alone," he says, but I feel it in my bones. "Welcome to the world, sweetheart." Carry me home, for I can't see through tear-filled eyes. Welcome to tomorrow. -Ashlee Kayann- 12:48AM
