Cinderella

Cinderella

A Poem by AshleeKayann
"

Probably not the best poem I've ever written. But, it has a certain quality -- angst, or triumph. I still like it.

"
She's Cinderella at the ball
but someone had to make her fall.
Here comes the show; come one, come all.
She'll rise above it, standing tall.

A princess with a pretty face
who was sent on a pointless chase.
She thought that he could change his ways,
but found that he'd had better days.

She's far too good to come in last
just because he's falling fast.
Away from her he must be cast,
for it's her turn to have a blast.

She soon will get to have some fun;
she strongly told him she was done.
There's nothing left from which to run.
Her fight is over; her battle won.

Cinderella at the ball
dared him to try and make her fall.
She chose to rise above it all,
and stare him down; still standing tall.

TRULY, VIVIDLY VERY BEAUTIFUL.

i truly admire this brilliant piece!

the thoroughness of the story. Genius for a flow, and a triumphant ending, a kind that i wasn't expecting but was hoping for. :)

a poem this good must be from personal experience. XD hehe
