FacesA Poem by AshleeKayann
I walk the faces of life alone,
not in spirit or actuality, simply feeling. And the faces around me who walk united fail to realize I have fallen. Resiliently, though, my mind remains unheard. Silently screaming, begging to be heard by anyone willing to take a moment and listen. But the faces of life have taught me never to trust the faces to do more than isolate, and prepare to stand alone. © 2011 AshleeKayannAuthor's Note
