![]() Ride to WarA Poem by Morgan Ashire![]() Could also, like most of my work, be classified under "Supernatural/Occult," and "Religious." Make of it as you will.![]() Here, we grieve for the lives of innocent blood, taken for morality. Here, upon this grave, we pay our tribute to insanity. Now, the time has come. Release unto this world the hell of conformity. The passions burn deep with the fires of hate. Parted by small minds, the world discriminates. The end of an era that's risen to fall, Marks this ending of lives; Kill them all.
Ride to your war. Ride to your hate. Creating a gravesite for thousands of souls. Drowned in the blood, Lost in the pain, Hundreds of thousands of corpses slain.
Now, fall on your knees and beg for forgivness from this new majesty. Now, ignore the lies, look blind in the face of this obvious travesty. Here, this is the day. Take up your arms and fight against the monarchy. Your freedom revoked by the word of the son. Captured and tortured, the worst has just begun. The end of this tyrant who's risen to fall, Marks his rise to power; Claim them all.
Ride to your war. Ride to your hate. Creating a gravesite for thousands of souls. Drowned in the blood, Lost in the pain, Hundreds of thousands of corpses slain. © 2008 Morgan AshireReviews
