Slaughter by AngelsA Poem by Morgan AshireMy first piece of writing that I was ever proud of. Based on The Book of Revelation in the Holy Bible, but take it as you will.Angel's scream a sorrowed song, as all lives parish in white-hot flame. The smoke is blinding to all, but gods. These bodies burn in shame. Toxin's stifle broken air, to suffocate the race of man. Inhale ash and exhale life. Descend and rot unprotected.
Repentance shan't come to the wicked, For the wicked can only spite. Feel their wrath as they descend In all of their terrible might.
The scripture breathes a shattered word, as fire rains from open skies. Writ within, it tells a tale of destruction and demise. Their tongues speak clear of pain and hate. Wreaking havoc, they shall create The answers sought in long conspire, The truth about the gods desire.
Repentance shan't come to the wicked, For the wicked can only spite. Feel their wrath as they descend In all of their terrible might. © 2008 Morgan AshireFeatured Review
