The Rain Falls Today

The Rain Falls Today

A Poem by Ashira Macy
"

5 Haiku Poem

"

The rain falls today,

My sorrow wrought tears cascade

Down mournful flushed cheeks.

The rain falls today.

Reddened eyes glaring back through

Nature’s looking glass.

The rain falls today.

Earth’s magic softly drowning

Spite buried within.

The rain falls today,

Lapping at my mortal scars

So I can find peace.

The rain falls today,

Each drop is crystal healing…

Spiritual bliss.

Rain is always fascinating, as it can express your darkness while healing you at the same time..
great job illustrating just that.

I dont think I've ever seen water expressed in such a way. The imagery
was that of a dream. You are quite the talent.

Well as I do very often! I got to the end and sneekily read Jacob's review. I know bad habits... He was saying they're so good separetly which brough me back to one of the Rene moments. Standing in the ghostown watching the tumbleweeds rolling. Why separetly? Re- read and it hit me. Haiku. I won't even dear comment on technicalities still reading about it and authors just don't agree as to the qualities found in them. What happened to me then is one of them situations were internal and external worlds come to life. The rain that cries transformed into the rain that washes away followed by the rain that clears all noises into silence accompanied by the rain that sumberges, treasured by that rain which lifts all unclarities.

Haiku they may be but I found a thread.

Thankyou

these are so good separately but you have threaded them together so nicely...movement from sadness to hope....something about rain that is refreshing...and feels like a baptism, so we can start over.
