JuneauA Poem by Ashira MacyI have been in Alaska the past week and have been majorly inspired.Long have I heard Of misty mountains’ majesty, But it never dawned fully Until I saw her there in Juneau. Jutting up in magnificent grandeur - Clouds hung around her in adoration, Kissing her face As two streams of crystal tears Trickled down her jade cheeks In awe of her own splendor. I sighed and breathed in Her earthy perfume As I swam in serenity. © 2014 Ashira MacyAuthor's Note
