A Letter

A poem trying to describe the sadness of an unreqruited love.

I wrote her a letter
telling her thanks for what she did
she was there when I needed
but I told her life's better now

I wrote her a letter
telling her what she meant to me
she is strong, beautiful, kind and caring
but I told her as a friend

I wrote her a letter
not telling her it was her eyes
she set my soul and dreams afire
but i didn't tell her, my life

I wrote her a letter
not telling her it's her I miss
she'll forever have a part of me
but I didn't tell her, my love

Kind of a free verse..what do you think? Does it work?

Completely an expression of "untold" love here you writing down in words. Your theme is great. Today, readers like reading stuffs which are well blended with love but also with the taste of "emotionalism" as well. And you have stirred both nicely with your paperback work!
