The Element of LoveA Chapter by Victor CartelI wrote this for my now ex some time in August 2010Love is like a bubble. It's clear to see, but it's got many colors of emotions inside. It's beautiful, graceful, and it seems to find it's way to the most amazing places. It puts a smile on people's faces... But bubbles pop.
Love is like a fire. It grows over time, and it makes you warmer the closer you get. It's mesmerizing and wondrous... but sometimes you get burned.
Love is like a flower. It starts out small with what seems no potential and grows up to be a beautiful, wonderful thing... but flowers die.
Love is like the ocean. There's a lot of it in just one body. You can get lost in it easily... but the ocean breaks up into many exciting rivers.
I want you to be my bubble of joy. When you pop I want you to be my fire of passion. When your flame dies out I want you to be my flower of beauty. When your flower wilts I want you to be my ocean of possibilities. When we hit rapids, I want to hit them together. We may fall hard but at least if we drown, we drown together. Live and love, part but never separate. I love you. © 2012 Victor Cartel |
