MournersA Poem by Ashwin ThakurDeath makes us live our life but it also takes something
Dreams that rose high
Showed our life a big lie Those brothers lying away down Died away with no frown Thier fathers lost a son Thier mother cried for none For whom she would cry Their lifeless eyes still open For whom she would cook Or make a funny look Thier sisters stand still Everything looks like a hill Those sisters who now lay down Will not have live heads to wear that crown Those people who loved those girls The men who brought them pearls They forgot how to love Those bodies lay bare Thier cold bodies together they stare Thier hands still reach out For us to catch them And bring them to life But they didnt knew something We dont care How they fare People die everyday So why should we stay And think about afterday Our heart beat as one After all we are our natures daughter and sons Why people have to die To prove ther lifes a lie Those big dreams that shattered For those whom these dreams mattered The lord is always watching Those birds who wanted to fly Thier wings cutted down We offer our deepest mourns © 2015 Ashwin ThakurReviews
