 Chapter 3

   Aurora

     then I said “you're kidding me right”all of a sudden she looked at me with my  that eye that was uncovered

“Aurora  your eye wasn't blue”

“ you must be  seeing things.”

Luke came running out acting like he was going to die “Maria! I have to tell you that Aurora  blackened   Aurora ”

 “I told you to shut up”

next thing I know Luke kiss me when he thought I wasn't mad.I looked down and Dropkick Luke and threw him off the tower literally maria's face turned white

“why did you do that we're up 72 stories”

“ he'll be fine”

I walk down the stairs and   drug Luke to  alley “what the hell is wrong with you”

“  fear what's wrong with me says the guy who kissed me and tried to tell my secret to my best friend” I yelled my eyes turned completely black Luke was trying to get me mad “it won't work”  I puff out my cheeks

“ damn it”

luke looked a little mad so I walked back up to Maria

“what happened we won't be seeing him till tomorrow morning”

Maria tried to cheer me up she didn't ask about my eyes  again an hour later my eye was blue again. for dinner since  it was my turn  I made shortcake with strawberries on top. I only ate one piece but Maria ate 3 pieces she liked my cooking skills wow she can't bake she can cook dinner I watched Death Note and fell asleep too funny  forums and the soundtrack to Death Note thank god it was the weekend two days not realizing I had  to listen to Maria's boyfriend or girlfriend so-called suffering.

“he is milk in such a faker” I mumble to myself I went to go to the door to go for a walk by myself Maria stopped me and asked me

“where I might be going?”

the only thing I had to say was nothing so I pulled my index finger off like a gun and pretended to shoot myself I was tired of dealing with her complaining boyfriend or I guess guy friend, for now, she knew I didn't like that guy  at all. as I walk two guys jumped out of the bushes they yelled at me

“give me your bag lady!”

and  the other coming at me with a knife

“Just gives the bag lady and no one will get hurt,” he said.

I have a faint  smart a*s smile on my face and start to giggle to myself

“boy you guys must have pretty big nuts to think you can mess with a girl like me” as soon as I say that the really big one jumps at me and tried to snatch my bag my eyes both turn black now and I do nothing but swap my hand at them and they're both  on their backs. I start laughing louder and more hysterically

I tell them “you better start running cuz I feel like eating something tonight” they get up and run away . I wander around for a couple more hours and then decide to head back to the apartment I realize when I look up at the apartment building. The lights  to our apartment wear off as soon Maria had just gone to bed so I tried to sneak in with blood on my mouth from  overbearing power cutting one of the Muggers  arms open I look around the apartment which is still the lights are all out still.

“she has cleaned up,” I said to myself. I grab a cup of tea and a cookie from the pantry and decide to head to my room to finish my homework from  Friday. the next morning  the two thugs who tried to mug me  were on the news.  I giggle  to myself quietly while listening to the News anchor  say. the two men were found in the alley I guess something that happened to them after they attacked me. Maria looked at the TV and giggled a little

“I guess of guys got one coming to them no good  ingrates,” she said.  looking back at the dishes   replying again

“I wonder  who  had done” that I'm looking out the window thinking to myself  

“Anyone with a sense of justice  I suppose”

Maria saw me coming  I guess I didn't notice her  so I just walked Around the apartment heading to bathroom I open the door and saw with  Shawn bandaging his leg back up  Maria pop your head into bathroom and said

“oh yeah I got kind of sick last night and I called Shawn to take care of me you weren't around and you weren't picking up your phone so I thought I'd be ok”

.” Maria but why is he still here.”

I look back at her and  she said

“well actually he got here this morning to check on me I didn't know you came home last night because I went to bed before you got home”

 I looked at her with surprise and  replied

“I thought It you need to think before you see him again haha”

I saw Maria's wings they were starting to come out I grabbed her and took her to her room. we both walked farther into her room and I  thought to myself “well she is an  angel” so  I decided To stay in  her room till  the Blue Moon  was  gone.when I got her to stay still in the room I tried to keep her from getting out around if someone saw her like that who knows with the government with her so I left a couple of times to get food and to bring her some soup I guess  shawn I left after I told him to go take a hike because  I told him Maria had gotten sicker and I was going to take care of her.

 I got a text message from Luke as I was making Maria's soup saying he was going to come over after he was done with his work I replied Ok and went back to making Maria Soup  a couple minutes later Luke arrived I let him in we chatted for a couple of minutes and then we both  felt a  chill up our spine. We both rushed back to the room Luke was the first one open the door and he freaked out he saw blood all over the room he noticed Maria was  cutting  her wings off   I ran in just as I see Maria's wings hit the ground  the second I look at Maria she bends back and new one appear in the light of the blue moon peeking through her  blind but the color wasn't normal her feathers and wings weren't just white they were  grey tipped. I knew why her wings were gray.I get  Luke out of her room as quick as I could and turned around and saw   shawn holding her I looked towards the front door and realize that the lock is broken because it's been kicked in  shawn was holding her looked scared he said to her

“are you ……..okay…. Maria”

before she Could reply to him her hair starting from the tips started to turn a pale white  what tense of blue and it  was growing long  she was renewing herself from cutting her wings off I left  shawn to care for her and close the door. I decided to check on her in the morning.
