unedited. My fianc�'s last letter to me before he died, the next day.

Dear Xena, ma belle

 

I apologise deeply if you ever receeve this mail.

I'm writing it because, lately i have had dreams of me leaving this world and entering another, it made me realise that life is short and that we should prepare in case the worst happens.

I thought i would write a "one last email"

and if anything ever happens to me I pleaded my brother to send you this email if the horrible fact ever came.

 

Unfortunately, if you're receiving this email (which i hope to god you will never have to) but if you have recieved this then, it means my love, i'm no longer here :( I want you to know That you have been the best thing that ever happend to me here on Earth and i love you so deeply that no one can ever take that away from me.

When i said my love for you goes beyond the universe i meant in many, many ways If i'm here on earth the love for you reaches no limit, but if i am not here anymore then loving you beyond the universe means that where ever i am, I still love you.

If i am not here existing on Earth anymore, i will remain with you in spirit, as in, where ever i go i still love you and its something that can never die, no one can take that away from me.

I know you said you wouldn't know what to do if anything ever happend, my darling, we can't control what happens in life, but i hope you will survive, i would love to know that you're going to be ok. When you lose someone, things feel unbarable but, death and isolation is not the answer.

You must live on, this world still lives and gives birth to many new things.

You may feel like you can never be happy again, but please try to think of the good times we shared, I hate the fact that i am not able to be there with you in person anymore, but you can survive, you lived and succeeded things even before you met me.

You must remember the good things in life, my love, because its going to be something you're going to have to grasp on tight to.

I'm not sure what hapened to me, but i assure you last thoughts i will have is of you, and peace and the joy you brought me.

I am not afraid of death i feel no fear about it. I am afraid of leaving you, thats all.

I hope you get through this. Hopefully we can meet again in the next life, we were brought together by fate, and destiny will bring us together again, but don't rush this, live a long full life and keep me as a great memory.

Don't fear, we will be together someday, it just wasn't meant to be here. I will never stop loving you and i want the best for you in the life you have.

Please don't give up.

Invincible is still a song i hold close, even if it seems that i'm not so invincible.

Please remember this song with good memories, if i'm not here to be invincible, then the love for you i have is invincible. I know things are going to be hard, please don't give up, i really want you to get better  and enjoy what this life has. if ever you feel lonely look to the stars or the moon, i used to do that, we all see the same stars and moon no matter where we are, so no matter where i am i'll being seeing the same moon and stars.

a soul lives on forever, and i choose for mine to be amoungst the stars and moon, if it can not be here on Earth, I'm always listening, don't be afraid to talk to me if you ever feel alone, i may not answer in voice but my soul somewhere will hear you.

You must never forget the great things you have done for me, or the love i have for you and i know you love me too, no matter where i am.

Grief is the most unpleasent thing to deal with, it must not be done alone.

Naomi, your friends and family are with you, Please take care of yourself, when we meet again, i want to hear of the happy times you had :) remember, my soul will be out there in the vast neverending universe, when you need to cry or just talk, i'll be listening, I love you so much.

That was playing when i read this piece. It only added to the heartbreaking emotion of this letter. I don't know what to say really. I want to know if it's true. I take it that it is because of the description...

If so, then wow. The loss... it's so hurtful, and I get that. His last words. They are precious. He's right, you know, hold on to all those good memories but continue living yourself and dont let the sorrow keep you from life. He'll be there with you every step of the way.

Is this real? The description says so, correct? I figured it was, because you are such an eloquent writer, and this--while so genuine and touching--does have a lot of redundant repitition. This very well may be the saddest thing I've ever read. So beautiful, so tragic. I'm sorry for the loss. I enjoyed reading, but of course, with a heavy heart. Thanks for sharing.

i like the concept of the story adn thought it was a great read - but there are a few spelling errors and a few places where i might have added more punctuation... just to make it easier for the reader.
