A Poem by Ashentara
"

written late, very late at night.. quite drunk.. nothing to be proud of but I often find my muse is more receptive when I'm in an altered state.. let me know what you think

"

I don't want to be

Unnatural of me

It's another way to breathe

Another way to be

Tired and out of this world

Means nothing

Just a headache and some emptiness

Whatever f**ck

whatever world would be mine

the blurry  lines seem deeper sweeter fuller

bittersweet addiction

wish I could weep

fall asleep

I'm on top of the world

shitness, it's just my world

hang on

feel the depth of it

and return

fuller

stronger

Me

Well vented on the frustrations of life.... I must say we do tell so much when drinking, you still managed to create an interesting piece of poetry out of it.

The first three lines are telling. I think they say it all, but I love the way this piece rambles along. It describes discomfort combined with a desire to keep moving forward despite the odds. Nicely done!
