Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope

A Poem by Heather Anne

Let me be your guiding light,

a place for you to rest.

Come lay your head down dearest

and leave all your stress behind.

Mirrors all around us now,

showing every flaw we have.

Every stage of life we take,

a broken path of pebbles.

Mon cheri do please sit,

let yourself unwind.

Stop over thinking all we are

and where we might end up.

Colours of the rainbows surround,

as daily routines continue.

A new perspective we find,

in the kaleidoscope of our lives.

We'll let our reservations go,

as inhibitions flow away.

Time spent well together,

Can never be forgotten.
