A Day Falls

Poem

Each day goes by I still linger at the edge of the pavement.
   Happiness will bring joy of those who believe, another life to give,
  Another who shows the true meaning yet to be discovered.
  Patiently my arrival delays a year past I will no longer embrace.
  The looks of honor I show to ignore, my dreams past farther away, further more.
What brings the emotions to the surface? She speaks with a quiet tone
“No longer will I ever know.
” She waits for a dream, once dreamt, once Ignored, gone.
The day breaks, another follows with the tears swarming down her rosy cheeks,
Alone and desperate she patiently waits to find her soul and her dream. 
As to a leaf that falls, the rain that drops, leads of spoken memories, to many more.
