Come With Me

Come With Me

A Poem by AshGrey

Countless shadows dance
In this lonely world
Grains of sand falling
Moulding two small pearls

Hitting obstacles
Creeping, tripping
Crying, crying
Treading chronicles
bleeding, crying
trying, trying

When all hope's lost
The coin is tossed
And we're not the ones in favour
Will you still come with me?

I speak, you speak
You speak with me
I smile, you smile
You smile with me
Summer, come with me
Come with me
Summer, come with me

Making promises
Breaking, weeping
Tears dripping
Flying pegasus
Falling, falling
Falling, falling

When the sky turns dark
There's a question-mark
On how to survive
Will you still come with me?

Countless shadows dance
In this lonely world
Grains of sand falling
Moulding two small pearls

I dream, you dream
You dream with me
I say, you say
You say to me
Summer, come with me
Summer, come with me
I'll be waiting
Summer, come with me

Beautiful, compelling, soothing. A plead, a wish, a yearning, a pleading. Spoken softly, with love. Thank you for sharing this.
