UNRESTFUL MIND, REPRIEVEA Poem by AsderathosSometimes we must put our faith not just in Nature's God, but God's Nature
Who can prevail?
On their mind to be still At the tempest tossed storm; Contest animate To keep free will. Without rest We're slain, Without rest We're enslaved With vigilance endless Madness reigns Shackles grow tight & chain, more taught... Who can be trusted? When chest is caught By Morpheus' call Too Deep To watch over Shorn walls Agape. What in a heart asleep And dark, Does light not burn? A spark resilient hidden. Architect of love, Father of hope, Keeper of wisdom. Trust & sleep For tomorrow's contest. 12-16-10 & 12-28-10 & 1-10-11 231 © 2011 Asderathos |
