Never to Return

Never to Return

A Poem by Asderathos
"

An image of crushing sorrow, like some scene from a movie that you would have to have a literally insane actress that could actually inflict the emotions upon herself to perform.

"

Red construction paper valentines

Pouring from a crumpled chest

Breast broken

Subtle sadness cracking

Sad smiles

Into a tortured mask

Of worlds lost

by the absence of one

Never,

Never to return

Even in this short poem you have expressed clearly the 'crushing sorrow' of losing a person you love (whether through the end of a relationship by growing apart or even through death).
This poem reads and flows well - I like the descriptions and images created.
