a mildly bold ode to the Dance of Life

ASCENSION

Heart healing, soul freeing, core to the senses

Breathe and dance, see and flinch no more

Sing the blood and tears away, quench the burning fears

With life-lust amongst a sundered sky

Mended by heart's beating as one, as the drums pound on

Fly the feet a fancy unproud but body bold uprisen to touch the sky
