POOL OF LIFE

Waters dark and deep
Rivers flowing long
The secrets they keep
Falling waters song
Vast lakes spread
Across the land
A cup of water
The source of life
As a bird in the hand
Tranquil liquid seeping away
Through the depths of the sea
Lost knowledge
Never to stay anywhere
Flowing eternally
