Wrath of a Kind Soul

Wrath of a Kind Soul

A Poem by Asderathos

WRATH OF A KIND SOUL

Let their lives breath and blood flow away from them
As my calm flows from me into a river white but impure
Fly forth the spirits of wrath from my rupturing heart
To tear away neglected souls form vessels unclean
And bring them to forest meadows or sheltered gardens serene
Letting their cruel corpses rot for all eternity
My world is dark & dying
Skies all starless moonless crying
Soon there came a kinder calling
Of death come to reap a tired soul
