Before Sun Rise

Wrote this after watching a winter sunrise in Cali Forn I Aye

BEFORE SUN RISE

Misty skies lighten,
A brighter shade of blue,
Pitch silhouettes emerge,
From the darkness,
Into living grey tones,
Of brown & green
The world awakens
To a fading fog
And an evaporating night
White and willowy world
Gleans from the shadow
There is yellow in the trees
Foreseeing, foretelling
The sun
