Words Gone Astray

"

I don't remember exactly what but this was an apology poem (it was so not my fault) but I was accidentally REALLY insulting. 06.... sooo long ago

"

WORDS GONE ASTRAY

Trickle timid tear
Drizzle to the lash
Quiver with livid fear
Of words long since passed
Worn & weary
Tears fall in a flurry of sorrows
That aches within my heart
Strike a single string discordant
Of hearts broken by worldly weights
Spirit flee the cringing crumbling crust
From Eyes Lack-lust’
Once green, joyous & seeing
Now hopeless heartless & grey
Silent crying
From words gone astray
