Alone in darkness I wander
Seeing without knowing
Feeling without being
As in light, ever fleeing
Petty wants for desperate needs,
Clinging to false hopes,
Always dreading,
Dreading light,
Dreading dark,
Dreading change as always stark,
Is there naught an inner spark
An ocean’s drop, a dessert’s grain
A soul’s vein
To the divine
A life’s way
A heart’s sign?
