DROWNING FOR MORE

Are you drowning down here with me?

Amidst the twinkling night

Blue, do you see that ring of light

Do you think they sing?

Amidst the hills and valleys

Do you think they breathe?

Deeply of the trees and flowers

Would they stand and fight or flee like cowards

Would they jump with fright seeing a sight like ours

Alone in black, blue orb up high

Breathless floating with hearts sunk amidst the night

Feeling lost never seeing but for the world

Filled with lives, we're only dreaming

For more
