FATE?

FATE?

A Poem by Asderathos

FATE?

Pensive ponderous painful wisdom sought

Gained to be traded for moment's laps in love

To seek no more, for a star-crossed fate

Eyes perceive all the pain

Past and gone perhaps to repeat

And fill lungs again with brief heart-full sighs

But time all too soon to stifle tears

Though fought may inevitably arise
