Ignore

Ignore

A Poem by Asderathos
"

Yeah... I don't like being ignored. So the poem made me think of my heart being ripped out of my chest & used as a purse.... thus the pic

"

IGNORE

Hopeless hollow heart

Ripped torn stretched apart,

 Dripping red tears

For words

Lost to ears

Overflowing shells

Filled with ocean sound

Sinking into ocean waves

As I look on,

Unacknowledged understanding,

Overflowing empathy

Ignored for flight

Or swim breathless both,

Singing upon deaf ears

Watching mouth and throat

With little understanding

As a Child’s gaze at fire leaping

Seeks to see with hands

And not feeling

Warmth

Till flesh singed
