Its pretty complex & I dunno who'll be able to understand it, Specifically its about how ppl use MLK's Image while abandoning his dream of a color blind society, & they themselves often call whites & Republicans, Racist solely for their skin color or part

DEPTHLESS DIVERSITY

Diversity a dirge to independent thinking

When Ideas are never spoken

For the want of a skin's token

A Color wheel spectrum

Is an Idol always golden

In sun's shadow

Race means Naught when

Independent thought is lost to

The fires of Hades'

Where hate is wrought as

Ignorant rebellion.

History's lessons lost

To worship of men

Their Ideas never taught

Killing common sense

To the wince,

Eventually of none

I often think..race is a point of confusion for many.. note the wall of babel .. differences upon which we can build contentions..and not hear the voice in clear context but rather filtered through the preconceived ideas we have of the speaker.. such as a person having rights to say racist things , because of them being in that race..we all have rights to say as we wish.. but there is always that tiny color wheel..I am of no particular race..
I think sometimes there is no skin token for me.
Still..I am not innocent, I recently, ended a 10 year friendship , because of her inability to consider my opinions , due to her ideas regarding race.

Oh yeah...I hear ya! This is brilliantly done. Truly. You cannot get more straightforward than that, in my book. It's a double edged sword. If I'm not sensitive enough to your plight, I'm racist...If I'm too sensitive to it...I'm racist. Walking that tight rope of political correctness can be exhausting, but it's also really such a shame, because that's not what his message was all about. His dream embraced all colors, did it not? Funny how we can get everything in full color, digitally enhanced...and yet, somehow it all still comes down to black and white.
