Yen and Yang

Yen and Yang

A Poem by AsamiFirestone
"

A poem I wrote down. One of my favorites that I've written. Hope you enjoy it!

"
I, am a small part
I, and all others make up Life
As the tigers cause strife
The gazelles dart

A cause and effect
Life and Death
I, am a small part
I, and all others make up Death

The rock of the mountain may not be alive
But it still grows and strives
The starfish may not walk
It has a say, to talk

You must listen closely
You have a right to live, but it's costly
Take a moment to stop and stare
Because one day this land will be bare

Author's Note

AsamiFirestone
This poem is one of my favorites that I have written is about a mixture of things, like, the balance of life, importance of diversity, judging, enemies needing one another. I don't know, whatever you want it to, that is what it means.

I like this a lot. So many concepts are able to be interpreted. It seems vague yet specific: directing the reader to interpret yet have his/her own interpretation.
