Returning to MeA Poem by Ryan Z. DawsonA love poem
And, dipping her toes in the water, she turned
So the gentle breeze tugged at her hair What she said then is lost in my memories' maze I was struck and could only but stare She resembled so strongly the ghost in my dream At that moment I started to stammer Then she leaned in to pluck a sweet kiss from my lips And I gave up my soul to her glamor Though I wander alone when the water is high In the pull of the bottomless sea I will hear her again on the redolent wind She is always returning to me © 2011 Ryan Z.
