Heroes are alive

Heroes are alive

A Poem by Krithika Raghavan
"

This poem has been written in the tezra rima style. It's my first time writing in that style, and I love experimenting.

"

They had lived and acheived many a great

Deeds of service, deeds of honour with pride

But just as the useless~ they had their fate.

Young, maybe God loved them for it, they died

The others, some similing, some suffering...

Were the oldest, and their loved ones had cried

These heroes, called 'immortals' in writing

Died with a bullet or sword in their chest

All left of them are songs minstrels sing

Lone authors of the night- with dirty vest

In the day break- rub their eyes and smile~

Magical transcriptions~ they did their best

GOLDEN PAGES OF HEROES ARE ALIVE...

THank you so very much... That was a beautiful complement you've given me;-)
The fight, live the passion, put your heroes down on the paper let them be life ,rebels ,renegades to win the lost cause, stand tall let them walk with blue light.Peal the joy out of their personality and let us feel them.

That was a beautiful way to reply to this comparitively dim poem;-)
Yes, Heroes are alive in the pages, but not in the flesh. Yet I suppose that is a reason why they're alive in the pages. I LIKED it! :) It was a good poem! (trying to be non-lenient) :)
