Dear LunaA Poem by ~Sarah~ Idríel The Fair
A beloved Luna!
Now as I lay down to rest, your gentle stillness soothes me. Again, and again I wait for you to return, your shivering quietness touches me. Silvery hair, long and curly and two deep pools of starry skie, your face looking back at me. I am spoused to the Moon, (Her face my everlasting longing) I will be there with you, soon! The day comes and all I can think is the calm night and Luna, dear Luna! You hear me? The weeks, months and years went by, again and again but nothing could ever change my love! Dearest Luna, Luna, my true love... Finally as I lay down to rest, for the last time, your face haunting me in my dreams, how could I ever find a peace without you? I am spoused to the Moon, Mia cara Luna!, I will be (there) with you soon! © 2023 ~Sarah~ Idríel The FairFeatured Review
