As light as a feather

As light as a feather

A Poem by ~Sarah~ Idríel The Fair

I called you by name.

Finally you opened your weary eyes,

smiling at me and you whispered;

'Now at last, He calls me home

as a Father calls his beloved child'.

You closed your eyes, in the same way

as you once opened them, full of wonder and love.

* * *

The pain was gone and your heart

as light as a feather in the wind.

Oh how I miss you!
