For a lifetimeA Poem by ~Sarah~ Idríel The FairMy child, sway in the wind, on your way to sleep. Cradle swing, my child, where are you going? In your mother’s lap, in your father’s arms, love it is that swings you, my child.
My child, sway in the wind, lots of laughs on your journey. Swing, you fly high beyond the sky-blue, (where are you going?) love it is that swings you, my child.
My child, sway in the wind, with adult steps thou goest. You have found love, someone with whom to share your life, (where are you going?) love is that swings you, my child.
My child, sway in the wind, in those days of olden age. You have lived, laughed and wept, your destination finally found, a peaceful sleep is that swings you, my child.
My child, sway in the wind, on your way to sleep. Cradle swing, my child, where are you going? In God’s palm, love it is that swings you, my child. © 2015 ~Sarah~ Idríel The FairReviews
