Lovely as a flower along the river,

morning dew as her silvery dress.

Graceful as a wavy reed,

she walks like a stream rippels.

Goldberry, she is!

Come, come

to us!

The sweetest flower

that blooms

along the river,

Morning dew as her silvery dress.

Goldberry, she is!

Sing, sing

to us!

Glimpses of the Sun in her hair,

Goldberry, she is,

the River-daughter.

Some say she is river-spirit

of the river Withywindle,

surrounded by water-lilies

at the feet of her.

Goldberry, she is!

Come, come

to us!

Glimpses of the Sun in her hair,

Goldberry, she is,

the River-daughter.

Lovely as a flower along the river,

morning dew as her silvery dress.
