The Sun Bridge

The Sun Bridge

A Poem by ~Sarah~ Idríel The Fair

Do not worry my child, it will carry you over the peaceful lake, on which surface you can see the reflection of his.

Reddish sky embraces the sun when it sets. So step bravely, my child, into the bridge of sun over the raging water, and let the storm winds wash away your pain and sorrow.

Evening arrives and you can see the reflections of your dreams in the depths of your soul.

Thus take a step with calmness, my child, into the bridge of sun over the slumbering water, and let the song of those peaceful waves to wipe your tears.

Then you can see his reflection in the sun bridge. Your loved one who has passed away long ago before you and who has step into the bridge of sun on its way to the heaven.

A powerful and beautiful poem. Had the feel of a Ancient Native American tale. The kind and gentle wisdom I liked a lot. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
