Erendis´songA Poem by ~Sarah~ Idríel The FairAll credits goes to J.R.R Tolkienhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGGwTuwg2So
He goes away again with his beautiful ship, he sails away across the Great Sea, far-away on the seashore. What is there, I may not know. I don’t want to know how does broken heart feel!
My battle against the Great Sea is useless. Bottomless is the Sea like his heart, as restless as his soul.
I cannot bind his heart and soul with a chain. I can still see the mast, the ship in full sail. The waves carry my love far-away, how long he will be on his journey, I may not know. Year´s passing and I am faded with age.
He returns home, with all glory he anchors his ship on the harbor. I can’t remember the echo of his voice over the seagull’s song. I don’t remember the shine of his eyes anymore.
He sails away again, across the Great Sea far-away on the seashore. What is there, I may not know.
The Sea remains, I fade away like those forests which are dearest to my heart, faded with age.
The Great Sea has won.
~ This is Erendis´song.
