I see youA Poem by **Arun**A poem about my mum as she went through cancer.
When the doctors news hits you hard
I see you, I see you, When you’re full of fear and sick with dread I see you, I see you. When you’re acting strong waiting for your op, I see you, I see you, When you’re lying in pain in the hospital bed I see you, I see you. When the poison is pumped through your veins I see you, I see you, When your hairs falling out and your nails crack I see you, I see you. When you’re surrounded by people but feeling alone I see you, I see you. When it all gets too much and you can’t see the end I see you, I see you. When you look in the mirror and you don’t see you there I see you, I see you, When your hearings gone and all feels wrong, I see you, I see you. When time goes by and the smile reaches your eyes I see you, I see you, When the doctor tells you you’ll be alright I see you, I see you. When you’re having fun and living life I see you, I see you, When you’re at home and hugging me tight I feel you, I feel you. © 2018 **Arun** |
