Lucky moments

Lucky moments

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

Really lucky

"
The Bear behind the tree never noticed my presence,
The Lions walking never noticed my presence
The Wild dogs ran fast unnoticed
Elephants passed in front of me unnoticed
Walked over a poisonous snake without touching it's fangs
Scorpions crawled over my legs ran to darkness
Ghosts and vampires skipped my presence
Sitting alone in the darkness silent
Silence is the only powerful weapon I have
To wage war without harming
Felt how lucky I got that weapon.
While Vulture's sat boring on tree top
Roaming and circling around my body
Until time exists.

You were really lucky... with those beasts running in front of you and never noticing you...wow, you must be some kind of invisible person...or they know how sweet and calm you are and not afraid of them....you describe these beasts in a vivid, thoughtful way.....very clever!

I find this write somewhat satirical. luck is most of the times not on our side and we hope we turn lucky always, but it's not case most times. the lines from the start to end seem to suggest that for me. and yes Silence is a great weapon, it can bring down the biggest of opponents with no words or actions. great thought there. you sort of weave this concept of animals not noticing you all through but at the end vulture do notice your body and keep circling. that's a powerful ending with some food for thought. Thanks for writing and sharing this wonderful write that is thought provoking.

A fun read!
Silence works wonders when you want to stay unnoticed.
Last line remind us luck isn't always in our side.

The last lines seem to indicate the speaker is deceased. Indeed, dead bodies have no fear of being attacked.

Maybe...Thanks for reviewing
It makes me wonder how many times unknown to me I have escaped death or harm by luck and what are the odds of all this happening. I am aware of several times after the fact. A very thought provoking write my friend.
