a very interestingly done poem, a person within a person, inner voice perhaps. the everyday, every time the voice or the other self that holds us back or pushes us further. It's a question to be or not to be. which is right, which isn't or doesn't matter. the write captures this dilemma beautifully and reminds us that there's that entity within us, always there, the presence is known but the outcomes are unknown. well done! Thanks for sharing, TP!
Yes, your conscience is with you for your whole life. After death, the evil spirit returns to Hell and the good spirit escorts us to the Father of All Life who judges us. If we believe in Jesus, then HIS blood totally abolishes every sin for eternity! God does not and will not co-exist with sin.
i remember when my therapist suddenly asked me: 'did you have an imaginary friend when you were a child?' my answer: yes... and i think he's still there. i talk to him endlessly, sometimes for hours and he provides me insights that i swear i did not think of. he is an amazing friend and mentor and i could not live without. not everyone's inner voice is like a guardian angel, but a more demonic one, as your verse explores. i guess i am lucky to have this wise and positive energy inside me.
An admission of blatant deviousness, hiding in a fog of Thisisme! Such a fine write, however. Words in keen order, admission lone, no fee for saying the truth and - almost but.

My feeling is that this amazing poem is about EGO and I wonder if I am incorrect, dear T. P.?
