Armageddon, Ragnarok, it seems that many believe in the end of times. The Greeks had Titanomachy and death itself as a metaphor for end darkness, forgetting, as many poems are forgotten while some go on and the poet is framed and hung on the wall, resurrected or imortal if you wish. And his poems are sung. A wonderful write.

Wow this is deep in how you see it or do believe, it you see dark you will never see the light, great write, its a warning, love how the words come together in the end. Thank you for sharing.
they asked the jazz great Wayne Shorter about 'rehearsing". And he said, "why, just to try and capture the unknown"? The act of poetry itself (as the codifying of subliminal warnings) gives notice that all short literary, advertisement is worthless without the nonsequitur fallacy of irrelevant conclusions that poetry arrives at. The fact that Whitman is dead is a crippling thought. But the fact that he's been dead for 132 years gives me some comfort in knowing that his poetry is still 'sung' and is as bright as ever. Nice poem. dana.
Excellently penned poem on the end of times which a lot of people, even today, still believe in. Should end of times come about, it is my belief that mankind will bring it on itself. Mankind will be responsible for the world ending, not God! I love how the immortality of the poet will not lie forgotten but be immortal, his portrait hanging on the wall to remind all of the wonderful poet that he was and his name will travel through time as one of "The Greats!" Super write, dear poet..Thank you for sharing...
The end is one thing that is in all and everything.... actually it doesn't end, it transformes into something else
Splendid song singing in this marvelous poem.
Well done!
All best?
