Fire dance

Fire dance

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

It goes on

"
Rubs the hardest stones
A thousand times
To know the lord of fire
Dancing on the dry grasses
With hot weapons fiercely.

The flames are high,
Touching the sky
Hotter and hotter the wind blown
Out of happiness
Dancer's starts dancing with lord.

Up far away
The hundreds of eye's twinkled
Seeing the dance
In rhythmic fashion
With laughing and happy lord.

Prayers echoed
Offerings and tears
Touching the lord
To wish all
A prosperous future.

Hurray hurray hurray
The lord spreads and hugs
All life forms and cosmos
To lit a spark of life
Inside and outside.

A finely penned poem which reminds me of primeval times when the world was a teenager and many things were waiting, yet to be discovered. Rubbing the stones to create sparks to light a fire imparts this to me. When the flames have come to life, there is great joy and dancing to celebrate. All of the stars look down like a myriad of eyes from a black velvet sky, watching the dancing and the joy it imparts. Prayers are offered for a bright future for everybody. It sort of sounds like New Year's Eve to me? Everyone is happy and joyful inside and spread that happiness outside to touch all. A lovely poem, finely inked, T. P... Thank you for sharing...

Thank you friend 😊
Fire, one of the 4 elements, is portrayed marvelously in your poem. Fire is part and parcel of our lives. We need water to keep fires at bay.
I hope you are not selling fire extinguishers for you to write this poem( kidding).
At least you are fired up for poetry.

The wording, topic, and cadence of this poem gives it a primitive and prehistoric feel congruent with its message. Metaphorically it is deeply psychological but just as primitive in the search for light or knowledge. Very nicely done.

Excellent poem! I really liked the title, that was my main reason for wanting to read...but was gracefully surprised in every stanza!

Well done and all best!
