I am a thief

I am a thief

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

You read that you are a thief

"
Did I see a thief a thief
A thief is a man of desires
A thief has a mother
A thief had a mother

A thief is a decorated mind
A never ending river
A never ending rain
A never ending thought.

A thief has a father
A thief had a father
Never punishing for errors
Never nurturing with love.

Every soul walking here are thiefs
Taking treasures from others
Looking and laughing
Pretending every walking souls are fools.

Truth is a mystery
Decorating the thiefs
Running fast as one can
To escape from penalty.

Arundass TP,

Thou art a wisdom's sage and a philosopher, as well as a fine Poet.

The undeniable fact is, we ARE all (each and every one of us) thieves by that very defintion wherein it is ascertained as to what a thief is. And as such in that very sugar coated way that we Humans console and reassure ourselves each and every time our mouth call and refer to murder as killing, simply because the murdering is done in the name of War ... Good thoughts here ...

oh wow, Arundass TP,
good morning, Dearest,
that sure is a philosophical and psychological, humongous theme, and reality,
It is something so baffling, it needs more prying,
great write! ----Maynard

"It is hard to begin without borrowing from others." Henry David Thoreau

We all take from life what we are given or in this case what can be stolen or taken. I've always believed there is more power in giving than taking because giving develops bonds of unity and friendship while taking makes enemies of even our closet allies.

Thank you friend for reading. Have a nice day 😊
I enjoyed reading your poem. Many are thieves, but are not born thieves. The environment we grow up in can affect our behavior negatively if we are missing the component of love. Well expressed.

The takers that hide under the banner of thief. They steal heart, soul and hope.

Yes,I believe that. “Stealing” or internalizing, assimilating. Some actually stealing. Thieves have parents too,who perhaps were lacking morality, integrity, caring, so could not teach them. Some steal to just survive. Nice form, flow, imagery repetition. Good write!

stealing was something I didn't care for but I'm no saint when I was homeless at a young age I would go restaurant and wait for people to leave there unwanted food and pull a dine and dash but one day I was caught they brought me before every one to see I was so ashamed and promised never to do that again. but what got me me I was taking what nobody wanted. in there eyes I was a thief.thank you for Sharing

Thought provoking write.I had never considered that we may all be thieves in a way. Certainly the volume of thievery in the UK has increased dramatically over recent years. The repetition in your lines works well.
