Flower

This poem I wrote in the year 2013, and published in Alive magazine on October 2013 issue. Presenting here with minor editing.

Gliding through the air, fast;
Slipped into barren land, hot;
Slept for seasons, dry;
Though to erupt, fast;

Gathered the clouds, high;
Rain fallen, heavily;
Waking up, hardily;
Spreading legs, rhythmically;

Grown fast, higher;
Branches spreading, taller;
Buds on the tip, appears;
Flowers bloomed, beautiful;

Fragrance travelled, allover;
Insects swarmed, all-around;
Days are numbered, dried;
Wind took the seeds, further
