Feeling of wellbeing

Feeling of wellbeing

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

If I felt illiterate, it is because of light, if I felt literate, it is because of darkness.

"
Light from lantern; fears the darkness
Hundreds of facts; I felt illiterate
Observing around;
Transforming, as time passes;
I felt, I am illiterate a thousand times
Transformation is the key
Never miracle happened
Dipped inside darkness
I felt I am happier;
Feeling of wholeness and well-being.

Love the line "I am illiterate a thousand times". I wonder about the significance of the small letter i in the line "I felt i am happier" and the capitalization of Wholeness and Well-being. The feeling of illiteracy, words stolen making you dumb is very compelling.

Arrundas TP,

A very enjoyable read that seems to mean the betterment that arrives of comes in simply resolving to find oneself's inner contentment of being at peace with thine own self as who and what thou art ... Maybe so, maybe not, but as such is my interpretive stab in the dark of attempting to discern the living, breathing, mind of another individual who is a member, just like me, of Human Humanity's kind ... Enjoyed the read ...

There certainly is some mystery in your writes. Dipped miracles in the dark chocolate of well being. Overwhelming ideas paralyzing our pens. Another interesting poem!

I love the premise of your message about light = illiterate . . . dark = literate. Sometimes it seems, in the darkness, we can't see all the distracting input that bombards us, distractions which make it impossible to form words. In the darkness we are more literate becuz we speak/write from an non-earthbound place. Two lines begin with "I felt" -- excess unneeded words, in my opinion. Just describe the feelings & don't waste my reading time with empty words stating the obvious (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You're welcome
Most of us feel alive in the dark places.
"Dipped inside darkness
I felt I am happier;
Feeling of wholeness and well-being."
I believe we need to taste dirt to appreciate the light. Powerful and good words shared. I did like this poem.
