The Man And The Moon

The Man And The Moon

A Poem by Su' Nacnetaf

Silent tears of a moon left in dreams,
generously soaking the misguided man's way,
keep on falling from heavens, as it seems,
forcing the man to seek where to stay.
Nobody ever glanced at her anymore,
nobody ever stared at her beautiful face,
but then her tears, in a puddle on the floor,
let her face glow within reflection all her grace.

The man stood at place, silently in awe
admiring the beauty of a moon he never knew,
within amazement of not finding a single flaw,
he took his camera to take a picture or two.
The moon, surprised by the man's deeds,
decided to clear the skies for her new friend,
the moon smiled again as he fulfilled her needs.
moral: a bit of interest, will put the saddest heart to mend.
