Kiss Me, My Love

Kiss Me, My Love

A Poem by Su' Nacnetaf

Kiss me, my love, even far away in the distance
I devote myself to you, as I always had,
not a single night have I spent without your radiance
and now I come before you with a shovel, I'm sad.
Anxiously I dig my way down, I'll see you again,
scaring the worms and snails away from you,
I slowly pick up your body, and no longer feel pain,
"I love you", if you could speak I know you'd say it, too.

Though your skin falls apart,
it only took one galant kiss to wake you,
to keep you alive, I'll share half of my heart,
and we'll start together a life anew.

Depth, Darkness and Love. A Perfect Trio.

Morbid but very touching. "to scare the worms and snails away from you"
I like the whole poem, I don't see any flaws, though it's a bit out of rhythm, but the Narrator's life seems to be aout of it's usual rhythm, too. I especially liked the part from "Anxiously..." til the end of the first stanza.
